Creates a Design Area Support element that assigns support properties to all nodes that fall on its plane and within its boundary.
If spring properties are assigned, every node that falls on the area polygon is assigned the same spring. No consideration is taken regarding the tributary area to each node. Thus, use the spring function on this component only when you want all relevant nodes to be assigned the same spring stiffness (in force/length).

Restraints are applied to the node by selecting any number of the check-boxes in the “Restraints” region. The Fx, Fy, and Fz represent the translational restraints in the global X, Y, and Z directions, respectively. The Mx, My, and Mz represent the rotational restraints about the global X, Y, and Z axes.
